"I step into a room that used to be a strip club. The smell hits first. Stale beer. Old sweat that never really left. The lights are low and uneven. The walls feel tired. This place has seen things it will never repeat out loud. Cables run across the floor like they were dropped and forgotten. Speakers sit where they fit. Friends move past me with gear in their hands, focused, quiet, already working.

People start to trickle in. Some come dressed for the night. Some look like they changed their mind halfway but showed up anyway. No one asks questions. Phones slip away early. Conversations happen close. The room fills without rushing. You can feel it settling. Whatever this place used to be starts to loosen its grip as bodies replace memory.

At some point, you stop thinking about where you are. The floor sticks a little. Your clothes pick up the smell of the room. Sweat mixes with whatever you walked in wearing. By the end of the night, that is the only proof you were here. That and a few photos taken by someone else.

This is Mind & Me Music. An independent electronic music collective and label from Belize, founded in 2016 by Night Quest, Leo Matura.

The nights move. 0-800-PARTIES travel from room to room, never staying long enough to settle. Ēostre takes over Caye Caulker over Easter weekend, changing venues each night and bringing in guest DJs from Guatemala and Mexico. Enter the Void returns every Halloween, set in isolated and strange locations across Belize.

People come back for the experience and the people.
